Which width suits which hand?

Comfort fit or standard fit?
A comfort-fit band is domed on the inside, so less metal touches the skin. A standard-fit band is flat inside and sits closer to the finger. Try both, because comfort fit can call for a slightly different size.
Which metal lasts longest?
Platinum is dense and develops a patina rather than wearing away. 14K gold is harder-wearing than 18K. White gold needs replating over time.
