Questions worth asking any jeweller.
Customers should compare more than price. Take these questions to any jeweller, including us. Clear, confident answers are a good sign.

- 01Is the diamond natural or lab-grown, and does the grading report say so?
- 02Which laboratory issued the report, and does the number match the girdle inscription?
- 03Can I see this exact diamond, and compare it side by side with others?
- 04Is the piece in the showroom the actual piece I’m buying?
- 05Who makes the setting, and is it quality checked before it reaches me?
- 06What does the warranty cover, and what aftercare is included?
- 07How long will it take, and can it be ready for my date?
- 08What are the returns terms for custom and in-stock pieces?
Red flags
- No independent grading report for a significant centre diamond
- A report number that doesn’t match the girdle inscription
- Being shown a display sample rather than the diamond you’ll receive
- Pressure to decide on the day
- No written warranty, or terms that ignore the Australian Consumer Law
What to bring to a consultation
- Your budget, or a range you’re comfortable with
- Photos of rings or styles you like
- A ring size, if you know it
- Any date you’re working towards, such as a proposal or wedding
