Where does the money go?
Most of an engagement ring budget goes on the centre diamond. The setting, metal and any side stones make up the rest.
How do you get the most from a budget?
- Prioritise cut, which does the most for appearance
- Choose an eye-clean clarity rather than flawless
- Buy just under a round weight, such as 0.95ct
- Consider lab-grown for more size
- Match colour grade to the metal
