Warranty

Securing Your Investment: Our Comprehensive Warranty.

At CTJ we take pride in our craftsmanship and quality of the materials we us. All our products are hand finished to a high standard. Every item we create undergoes a quality assessment before being delivered.

We offer our customers a Lifetime complimentary cleaning service on engagement rings which includes an ultrasonic clean and a check over of your ring. For a more thorough clean such as a polish, rhodium plating for white gold or if any repairs that need to be conducted, there is an additional charge.

*Please note these services are for CTJ jewellery only.

CTJ offers a manufacturing warranty from the date of purchase against any manufacturing defects on all gold and platinum jewellery. We recommend bringing in your ring for a yearly complimentary assessment to maintain your warranty.

Manufacturing defects refer to the structure of the jewellery, and most manufacturing defects show up within the first few months. Any item found defective because of manufacturing will be repaired or replaced by CTJ. All fine jewellery, particularly rings, can be affected by normal wear and everyday activities. The manufacturing warranty does not cover any damage to jewellery or loss of stones due to accidents, mishandling and abusive use, theft, or damage caused by general wear and tear. Please read carefully through what is NOT covered by the manufacturing warranty.

What is Not Covered By Our Manufacturing Warranty

We will conduct a free assessment of the jewellery to determine whether the damage is under warranty. If the damage is not under warranty, we will give you a repair quote for your approval before any works are completed.

Some examples of common jewellery issues that would not be considered manufacturing defects include:

· Dents, abrasions, and overtime wear. Metals are soft and over time may require building up as a part of normal wear. We recommend a yearly jewellery assessment where a jeweller can check that your stone settings are secure.

· Any damage or trauma caused to the ring.

· The loss of a gemstone is caused by damage from everyday wear or other damage.

· Chips, scratches, nicks, and breakages on the gemstones due to wear and tear or accidents. Diamonds are the hardest gemstones but not indestructible.

· Any damage to your setting created by exposure to corrosive chemicals e.g. chlorine bleach, heavy cleaning products.

· The discolouration of metals caused by chemicals, make-up, exposure to chlorine in pools and hot tubs, or bathing.

*Repairs or services performed by any jeweller other than CTJ will void your Manufacturing Warranty.
